AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal hit back at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who had accused the Delhi chief minister of ties to terrorists, claiming that the election results will vindicate him. "He will get to know on February 20. If a journalist asks them who they will vote for, they are scared to even say the truth," Kejriwal said, reported NDTV.

Gandhi had, on Tuesday, accused Kejriwal, saying the latter could be "found at the home of a terrorist". He said, as Quint reported, referring to the Delhi CM's overnight stay at the home of a Khalistan leader: "A leader of the Congress party will never be seen at the house of a terrorist, no matter what happens. The biggest leader of AAP can be found at the home of a terrorist. This is the truth."

AAP is proving itself a major competitor in Punjab. Kejriwal had, on Sunday, rubbished the prospects of the Congress in the Punjab assembly polls. Kejriwal addressed a press conference in Amritsar with AAP chief ministerial candidate Bhagwant Mann. Kejriwal said “Congress party has become a circus in Punjab. Channi Saheb is going to lose from both assembly constituencies. AAP is going to defeat him. He'll never be the CM when he can't be an MLA,” ANI reported.

Kejriwal said AAP had conducted surveys thrice in the Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur seats, from where Channi is contesting. “The AAP chief said that his party will get 52 per cent votes in Chamkaur while Channi is getting 35 per cent votes. In Bhadaur, AAP will get 48 per cent votes while Channi is getting 30 per cent votes, Kejriwal claimed,” Times Now reported.

Kejriwal hit out at Channi over an investigation by the Punjab government over charges of sand mining. Kejriwal said, “Channi Saheb did an investigation on himself; when Bhagwant Mann will become CM, he will do a fair investigation on sand mining. When his relative has confessed that all the money belongs to Channi, why is ED not arresting him?"

Last week, Channi declared he had got a clean chit over allegations of illegal sand mining in Chamkaur Sahib and declared Kejriwal was a “liar”.
