Rubina described the experience as far more intense than many people assume. Addressing common misconceptions around C-sections being an 'easy' alternative to natural delivery, she highlighted the pain, recovery, and emotional toll involved.
"7 layers are cut deep and then the child comes out. It only takes 10 minutes to take the child out and 45 minutes to stitch you back. You almost lose 1-1.5 litres of blood," Rubina is seen explaining in the viral video.
She reportedly explained how the procedure is not just about delivering the baby within minutes, but also about the lengthy surgical process and the demanding healing period that follows. The actress emphasised that C-section recovery is often underestimated.
How is a C-section performed?
A caesarean section is the surgical delivery of a baby through an incision that is made in the mother's abdomen and uterus. If the delivery cannot be made vaginally, a C-section allows the foetus to be delivered surgically.
