Akshay Kumar's ensemble action-comedy entertainer continues to show strong weekday numbers, with the daily numbers staying above Rs 5 crore after taking a sharp first-Monday drop. Initially, the third entry in the "Welcome" franchise was doing two-number figures over the three-day opening weekend (including Thursday evening previews).

The Rs 6.15 crore net it earned domestically on Day 6, from 9,851 shows, adds to the domestic gross now standing at Rs 104.42 crore and the Rs 87.65 crore net total, as per box office tracker Sacnilk. With the overseas total now at Rs 24.95 crore, the cumulative global collection stands at Rs 129.37 crore. It should easily cross the 150 crore mark within the week.

With a reported production budget of around Rs 125 crore, and considering the film's current trajectory, the film has turned out to be a profitable venture already.

The box office trajectory of "Welcome to the Jungle" is characterised by a steady double-digit opening, a major weekend surge driven by B and C centres, and managing to breach the Rs 100 crore mark within 6 days. This is usually the case with high-budget, ensemble action-comedies designed specifically for mass-market appeal rather than relying purely on urban multiplexes.

Akshay Kumar has a long-standing history of leading massive ensemble entertainers that demonstrated similar box-office performance. The closest parallels are "Housefull 4". Much like "Welcome 3", it was a heavy ensemble piece directed/written by Farhad Samji that faced mixed critical reviews but did strong business outside urban centers. It crossed Rs 100 crore net in India within 5 days and eventually finished with a Rs 205 crore domestic net. "Welcome to the Jungle", with the Rs 87.65 crore registered on Day 6, is slightly trailing the pace of the former due to a highly competitive 2026 release window.
