On Day 4, Akshay Kumar's "Welcome To The Jungle" (Welcome 3) saw a sharp drop on the first Monday (the crucial Monday test), earning Rs 8.50 crore, compared to the Rs 24.75 crore it collected on the first Sunday. While it's a decent weekday number compared to what most contemporary releases make on the first Monday, the 65.7% plunge is concerning, given the reported budget of Rs 150 crore.

Out of the global total, Rs 86.53 crore comes from India gross and Rs 72.25 crore net earnings. The total overseas gross of Rs 19.95 crore takes the worldwide gross collection to Rs 106.48 crore. It has already earned more than the first two entries in the franchise.

While "Welcome to the Jungle" has achieved the fastest sprint to Rs 100 crore worldwide gross in the franchise's history (4 days), inflation and overall reach alter the perspective when compared to its predecessors. "Welcome to the Jungle" mostly relies on a front-loaded, weekend-heavy trajectory driven by pre-release franchise hype rather than organic word-of-mouth.

For comparison, a similar Akshay Kumar franchise entry, "Housefull 4", opened big due to franchise loyalty but faced a massive critical backlash. Unlike "Welcome to the Jungle", it recovered during the festival weekdays because of the Diwali holidays. The latter doesn't have that advantage to balance its 65%+ drop.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, "Welcome to the Jungle" features a huge ensemble cast comprising Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jackie Shroff, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, and Aftab Shivdasani, among others.
