Vijay Devarakonda, Rashmika Mandanna to marry in Feb 2026? 'Dear Comrade' couple yet to make official announcement

Before her rumored relationship with Devarakonda, Rashmika was in a relationship with Kannada star Rakshit Shetty. Once engaged, they later broke it off citing incompatibility issues

Ever since they acted together in two consecutive films — Geetha Govindam, Dear Comrade — there have been speculations about the two dating each other. Seven years after they first starred together, it seems Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are finally ready to tie the knot. The former's team has reportedly confirmed the news to Hindustan Times.

According to reports, Devarakonda and Mandanna would marry in February. While M9 News claimed they are already engaged after a private ceremony, no formal announcement has been made. The pair, often cryptic about their relationship status, began hinting in 2024 that they are no longer single. However, public appearances together fueled ongoing speculation.

Before her rumored relationship with Devarakonda, Rashmika was in a relationship with Kannada star Rakshit Shetty. Known for films such as Saptha Sagaradache Ello, Ulidavaru Kandathe, and Kirik Party, Rakshit acted with Rashmika in Kirik Party, which was directed by Rishab Shetty (Kantara). They announced their engagement in 2017, but ended it in 2018 due to incompatibility issues.

Vijay Devarakonda broke out as the lead in the 2016 rom-com Pelli Choopulu and gained further attention a year later with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Arjun Reddy. He was last seen in Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna has been having a strong run lately, with opportunities in consecutive box office hits in the form of Animal, Pushpa-2, and Chhaava. However, her last two movies Sikander and Kuberaa didn't do well in theatres. She will be seen next in Maddock Films' Thamma, opposite Ayushman Khurrana and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
