The OTT release comes two months after the film's theatrical run, which did not meet expectations despite its ambitious scale and high production budget. Made at an estimated cost of ₹80 crore, "I'm Game" collected around ₹47.84 crore to ₹48.47 crore worldwide. Its domestic earnings stood at approximately ₹25.44 crore in net collections and ₹29.64 crore in gross collections, while overseas figures came up to ₹18.20 crore.
Despite falling short of its commercial expectations, the film managed to become the seventh highest-grossing Malayalam film globally in its release year.
Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, "I'm Game" marks his second feature film after the success of "RDX: Robert Dony Xavier" (2023). His directorial debut, starring Antony Varghese, Shane Nigam and Neeraj Madhav, became a major commercial success, crossing the ₹100 crore mark worldwide.
"I'm Game" features an ensemble cast led by Dulquer Salmaan as Dan John and Kayadu Lohar as Isha. Antony Varghese plays Vignesh, also known as Vicky Das, while Mysskin appears as David Abraham, the main antagonist. The cast also includes Kathir as Jason Antony, Vinay Forrt as Freddy, Samyuktha Viswanathan as Tharini and Parth Tiwari as Shaurya. The film also marks Mysskin's acting debut in Malayalam cinema.
Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese have produced the film under Wayfarer Films. Nahas Hidhayath developed the story, while Sajeer Baba, Ismail Aboobacker and Bilal Moidu worked on the screenplay. Adarsh Sukumaran and Shabas Rasheed wrote the dialogues.
The technical team includes composer Jakes Bejoy, cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, with additional cinematography by Jomon T. John, and editor Chaman Chacko. Popular stunt duo Anbariv, known for their work in films such as KGF and Vikram, handled the action sequences.
