Madharaasi, which is also spelt Madharasi, crossed Rs 63 crore by Day 3 in worldwide box office collection. Of this whopping amount, Rs 20.25 crore was collected in overseas business in the first three days.

On the other hand, the AR Murugadoss movie collected Rs 36.4 crore in the domestic collection till Day 3.
How much did Madharaasi mint in domestic box office collection?
Madharaasi aka Madharasi netted Rs 4.15 crore from domestic box office till 5 pm on Day 4, taking its total net Indian collection to Rs 40.55 crore, according to Sacnilk. The gross domestic collection stood at Rs 42.75 crore.

Day 4 saw the morning shows occupied 17.92 per cent and afternoon shows 27.04 per cent.
On Day 1, Madharaasi minted Rs 13.65 crore, including Rs 12 crore from Tamil, Rs 1.55 crore in Telugu and Rs 10 lakh in Hindi. Day 2, which was a Saturday, saw the Sivakarthikeyan starrer bagging Rs 12.1 crore in domestic business, which includes Rs 10.9 crore in Tamil, Rs 1.1 crore in Telugu and Rs 10 lakh in Hindi.
The third day saw a 11.98 per cent drop in business, collecting Rs 10.65 crore on Sunday. This included Rs 9.75 crore in Tamil, Rs 80 lakh in Telugu and Rs 10 lakh in Hindi.
Madharasi is the first collaboration between AR Murugadoss and Sivakarthikeyan. Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Vikranth Santhosh, Monisha Vijay, Thalaivasal Vijay, Rishi Rithvik, Prem Kumar, and Shabeer Kallarakkal are also part of the star cast.
