Popular Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan received a death threat, which was traced to Raipur.
According to media reports, the threat call was made by a man, Faizan Khan, hailing from Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
Following the death threat call to Shah Rukh Khan, a case was registered at the Bandra police station in Mumbai.
According to media reports, a police team from Mumbai was headed to Raipur for an investigation.
The actor had faced death threats earlier as well. In 2023, following the success of his movies Pathan and Jawan there were similiar threats to his life. In the wake of the threat in 2023, the actor's security was increased to Y+ category.
Shah Rukh Khan's last release was Rajkumar Hirani's comedy-drama Dunki in 2023. He will be next seen in a film, titled King. The movie also stars his daughter Suhana in a pivotal role. The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh of Kahaani fame.
