For all those who thought the super success of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan was just an emotional wave, they are soon going to be proved wrong. Superstar Shah Rukh had a film release only after four long years.

Moreover, his son Aryan Khan was unfortunately arrested by the Mumbai police on false charges in an alleged drug bust. Critics of Pathaan have unfairly attributed the Yash Raj Films’ success to a sympathy wave for Shah Rukh.

However, the first look of SRK's next film Jawan, set to hit the big screens in September, as well as its song ‘Zinda Banda’ are out and are very promising. The industry buzz says that both the film and the actor are fabulous. There is already talk of Jawan being the next major blockbuster of the year.

All this has caused two major films to change their release dates and make way for Shah Rukh, well known as the Badshah of Bollywood. These films are Dharma Productions’ Yodha, starring Siddharth Malhotra, and the Vikas Bahl-produced Ganpath, starring Tiger Shroff. Both these films are major players and have been forced to play safe and make room for Jawan’s release.

After this, SRK will only be seen in a cameo for Tiger 3, returning a favour for Salman Khan’s cameo. He will also star in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, along with Taapsee Pannu, in a comedy about Indians who seek a backdoor exit to emigrate to foreign countries. The filming of Dunki is said to be underway and may release late this year or then in 2024.
