The 'prevue' of Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller Jawan dropped on Monday. Jawan, Shah Rukh's second release this year after the blockbuster Pathaan, is helmed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee. The pan-India movie also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. It is produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Gupta under the production banner Red Chillies Entertainment.

Jawan, one of the most anticipated releases this year, features Shah Rukh in double roles. The mass actioner will see the Bollywood star in full form as he engages in high-octane action sequences and mouths punch-dialogues. "You must have heard the name. This is just the beginning... When I become the villain, no hero stands a chance against me," Shah Rukh's character says in the video. Jawan outlines the emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in the society, the makers said in a statement.

Fans can certainly expect a flamboyant film from Atlee, known for Tamil films like Mersal and Bijil. The prevue gives a glimpse of Shah Rukh's multiple avatars in the film, including the bandaged look which was revealed in the first teaser, and a never-seen-before bald look as well. According to the video, Shah Rukh's character is aided by an “army of women” in his mission. Actress Nayanthara's fans are also excited about the female superstar's first collaboration with Shah Rukh. Jawan also stars Deepika Padukone in a special appearance, along with Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover and Mukesh Chhabra in key roles.

The film also features a captivating background score by Anirudh Ravichander, known for some of the biggest hits in Tamil in recent times. The prevue ends with Shah Rukh dancing to "Beqaraar Karke Humein".

Jawan is slated to be released worldwide on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
