CISF officer in trouble over stopping Salman Khan at Mumbai airport?

CISF has reportedly seized his mobile phone for speaking to media

The CISF personnel, whom social media hailed as a hero after he was seen stopping Salman Khan at the Mumbai airport, has found himself in a tight spot.

According to reports, CISF has seized the mobile phone of ASI Somnath Mohanty for speaking to a media organisation based out of Odisha after stopping Khan. “The mobile phone of Mohanty has been seized as he interacted with the media and it is a breach of protocol,” The New Indian Express quoted an official as saying.

In a video that went viral, the actor was seen reaching the airport, accompanied by a few people. Khan, who was reportedly heading to Russia for the filming of the third installment in the Tiger franchise, managed to evade fans and photographers crowding around him to reach the entrance of the airport, only to be stopped by the CISF personnel for the completion of his security clearance.

Netizens were impressed with the way in which the actor was stopped at the airport and was subjected to the required security check.
