Actor Sameera Reddy, via an Instagram post, shared that she and her husband Akshai Varde have tested positive for COVID-19 after their tots, Hans and Nyra tested positive for the virus.
Reddy, who hasn't been seen on the silver screen since she got married, has been in touch with her fans via her Instagram account. She has championed the cause of body positivity and been sharing 'messy mama' images of herself sans make-up.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Reddy said how she felt panic when her kids tested positive for the virus. “I have to admit initially I did feel complete panic because however much you think you are prepared, you just never completely are for something like this,” she wrote.
She also said that one needs to 'be smart and focus on what helps, not negative, not fearful’.
“We have to be mindful of this. It is the only way. I will continue to make my happy content because positivity is my biggest strength right now Stay strong. Stay safe,” she wrote, after writing that her kids were now feeling better.
Reddy, who addresses her mother-in-law as 'sassy saas', said that since her mom-in-law lives separately, she hasn't been exposed to the virus and is safe.
