Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who will be in Mumbai on Tuesday evening, is expected to meet Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.
According to media reports, the UP CM, who will also meet a few other film personalities, is expected to push for the film city plan in his state. Adityanath had earlier unveiled an ambitious plan to set up a film city and rolled out an open offer to film fraternity to come to Uttar Pradesh.
The state government had already approved a proposal for setting up a film city in Sector 21 along the Yamuna Expressway in Gautam Buddh Nagar. The chief minister had said in September that it would just not be a film city alone, but a world-class electronic city will also come up there and a financial city is also proposed
During his two-day visit to Mumbai, the CM is slated to meet industrialists and investors and will visit Bombay Stock Exchange to list Lucknow Municipal Corporation's first-ever bonds.
Among the industrialists the CM will be meeting in Mumbai are Tata Sons chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran, L&T chairman S.N. Subrahmanyan and Hiranandani Group chairman Niranjan Hiranandani.
