Salma Hayek opens up about how goddess Lakshmi helps her connect with 'inner beauty'

Mexican-American actor Salma Hayek revealed how she connects with her “inner beauty”.

Taking to Instagram, the actor said when she wants to connect with her inner beauty, she starts her meditation focusing on goddess Lakshmi.

Hayek said the image of goddess Lakshmi makes her feel joyful.

"When I want to connect with my inner beauty, I start my meditation focusing on the goddess Lakshmi, who in Hinduism represents wealth, fortune, love, beauty, Māyā (literally meaning "illusion" or "magic”), joy and prosperity. Somehow her image makes me feel joyful, and joy is the greatest door for your inner beauty," the actor wrote, sharing a picture of godess Lakshmi.

Reacting to the post, Bollywood actor Bipasha Basu commented “Amazing.”

Many of her fans from India were impressed by the actor and asked her to visit India.

On the work front, the actor was last seen in The Roads Not Taken, also starring Javier Bardem. The film was premiered at Berlin International Film Festival in February 2020. Her upcoming projects include the Marvel thriller Eternals and the action comedy The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson.
