Vidyut Jammwal’s ‘tight virtual hug’ for Amit Shah sparks meme fest

Actor Vidyut Jammwal triggered a meme fest on Twitter on Monday, when he accidentally sent virtual hugs to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, instead of actor Amit Sadh.

Jammwal was responding to Sadh who lauded the trailer of his new film Khuda Haafiz. The film, directed by Faruk Kabir, is set to premiere on Disney + Hotstar on August 14. The romantic thriller film also features Shivaleeka Oberoi.

“Bro you're kicking some real asses in this one! As a human being you were always spectacular but the growth that you've shown with every film of yours is truly amazing. Everything that you do truly touches my heart. All the best for #KhudaHaafiz!,” Sadh tweeted.

While replying to Sadh’s tweet, Jammwal accidentally tagged Shah and wrote, "Thank you @AmitShah ..A tight virtual hug to you."

Twitter users who quickly spotted the goof-up started sharing hilarious memes and comments.

After he realised his mistake, he tweeted another message, tagging Sadh and hoped the ‘hugs’ reached the right address.He wrote: “Thankyou @TheAmitSadh ...A tight virtual hug to YOU...I hope it reaches you on the right address.”
