Karan Johar who has been sporting his grey hair look during the nation-wide lockdown, took to Instagram to announce that he is ‘available for father roles’.
Sharing a selfie, Karan Johar wrote: “I know my acting stint was scarier than the current virus but there is no harm in hoping for a second chance! So to all enterprising casting directors, to all risk taking filmmakers , to critics with a high threshold of pain and to easy to please audiences I have an announcement to make!!!! I AM AVAILABLE FOR FATHER ROLES! ( at 48 with a poor track record I promise i can’t afford to be choosy).”

Choreographer-filmmaker joked that he looked more high-maintenance than the heroine.
During the lockdown,Karan has mostly been posting videos with his kids Yash and Roohi. He also collaborated with other actors for the virtual concert I for India.
Karan Johar on Monday shared an image according to which the concert had become world’s biggest live fundraiser on Facebook by raising Rs 4.3 crore online (and counting) with donations from corporate and philanthropists amounting to Rs 47.77 crore, and counting. “From our hearts to yours. Thank you for watching. Thank you for responding. Thank you for donating. #IForIndia started out as a concert. But it can be a movement. Let’s continue to build a safe, healthy & strong India. I For India. Please donate,” he wrote.
All the proceeds from the fundraiser concert will go to the India COVID Response Fund, managed by GiveIndia, to support on-ground relief.
