While fans are making theories and speculations about the upcoming Star Wars film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the makers of the movie have been successful in keeping the plot and everything else about the movie under the wraps. Well, almost!

According to media reports, a legit script of the movie was leaked and was put on sale on Ebay. The damage was averted when someone from Disney identified the script and purchased it from the seller before anyone else could make an offer to the seller.

Director of the movie J.J. Abrams revealed on 'Good Morning America' how carelessness from the part of one of the actors landed the script on the internet. He, however, refused to name the actor.

The director said Disney is extremely secretive about the script. "They were really nervous about anything getting out, and so they had only a handful of scripts, and they were printed on crazy, uncopy-able paper," he was quoted as saying.

However, it so happened that one of the actors—the director refused to name the actor—left it under their bed. The script was later spotted by someone who went to clean the room. The script then changed hands and finally landed for sale on Ebay.

Thanks to the prompt action by Disney, the details about the highly awaited conclusion to the new Star Wars trilogy is still a secret.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the ninth installment in the saga, is expected to be released in India on December 20.

Earlier, it was revealed that the movie will have runtime of two hours and 21 minutes.
