Filmmaker Geetu Mohandas' Moothon has been receiving rave reviews, after its theatrical release on November 8. This is also seen as Nivin's most challenging role yet as he steps out of his comfort zone, and will surely remain a milestone in his career.
In a making video that was released recently, we can catch glimpses of what went behind the scenes. In most of the scenes we see Geetu smiling or contemplating her next shots and how her characters are turning out. Cinematographer Rajeev Ravi is seen experimenting with his camera and various angles.
We also see Nivin slowly transforming into his character—starting from the hairdo, makeup and getting his ears pierced as Geetu eagerly watches on. We also catch glimpses of actors Shashank Arora and Shobhita Dhulipala.
Moothon premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was also screened at MAMI before it released in theatres.
