Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had met with members of the film fraternity, as part of an event titled 'Change Within', organised as part of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary. Many of Bollywood's celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Jackie Shroff, Kangana Ranaut, Imtiaz Ali, Ekta Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez were present.
The focus of this initiative was to invite film personalities encouraging them to make films and television shows that speak about Gandhi and his principles.
Filmmaker Aanand L. Rai on Wednesday, shared a video of the meeting where Modi can be seen interacting with the actors and filmmakers. The actors thank Modi for his support for the film industry, and also pose with the PM for multiple selfies.
