Dulquer Salmaan’s "I’m Game" continued its strong run at the box office on Day 2, recording steady collections across India and overseas. The film collected a net of ₹4.60 crore in India from 3,145 shows on the second day. This takes its total India gross collection to ₹11.70 crore, while its India net collection has reached ₹10.00 crore after two days.
The film also performed well overseas. It earned around ₹4.00 crore on Day 2, taking its overseas gross total to ₹8.50 crore. The combined numbers take the worldwide gross of "I’m Game" to ₹20.20 crore, per box office tracker Sacnilk.
The Malayalam version, obviously, remains the film’s biggest contributor. On Day 2, it collected ₹3.18 crore net from 1,506 shows. The Telugu version followed with ₹75 lakh, while the Tamil version contributed ₹60 lakh. The Hindi version added another ₹7 lakh.
With ₹10 crore in two-day India net collections, "I’m Game" is already ahead of "King of Kotha" and several of Dulquer’s recent multilingual releases. However, "Kurup" remains the benchmark for his solo Malayalam releases, having crossed ₹30 crore worldwide in its first two days during a huge post-pandemic theatrical wave.
Unlike "King of Kotha", which suffered a sharp fall after its opening due to negative word-of-mouth, "I’m Game" has shown a much steadier second-day performance. This could point to stronger theatre retention through Sunday.
Compared with the 2024 Telugu blockbuster "Lucky Baskhar", "I’m Game" is slightly behind in opening pace, mainly because "Lucky Baskhar" had a much wider initial market reach. However, "I’m Game" has comfortably outperformed "Kaantha", whose slower start was linked to its more niche, artistic style. With its broader commercial appeal, "I’m Game" now heads into the weekend with positive momentum.
One of the most encouraging signs is the film’s hold on Day 2. Domestic net collections fell by only 14.8% from the ₹5.40 crore earned on the opening day. A relatively small drop suggests that the film is retaining its audience well and could benefit from the busy weekend, particularly on Saturday and Sunday.
Directed by Nahas Hidhayath and produced by Wayfarer Films, "I’m Game" sees Dulquer returning to Malayalam cinema after a period of working across languages with films such as "Lucky Baskhar" and "Kaantha".
