Singer Adnan Sami has been on the receiving end of Pakistani trolls, particularly after the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He recently shut down a Pakistani troll who sought his views on the Kashmir issue, on the occasion of Independence Day. Sami, who maintained his calm, gave a fitting reply: “Don’t poke your nose in things that do NOT belong to you!”

Sami, who is of Pakistani descent, was granted Indian citizenship in 2016. He was recently trolled by another user from Pakistan who said Sami was thrown out of Pakistan. And now, replying to a Twitter user who asked the singer how he was coping with all that flak from the Pakistanis, Sami said: "My dear, it's okay; they're basically helpless, misguided and frustrated about their own lives and are taking it out on me since they know I moved on. I forgive them and pray that God improves their lives. They are actually victims. Hugs."

With Pakistan downgrading diplomatic relationships with India in response to India's move to strip Kashmir of its special status, Indian films have also be banned in Pakistan. At the same time, after Pakistan banned the screening of Indian films, All Indian Cine Workers Association demanded a blanket ban on Pakistani artists.
