As #MeToo wave caught up with Indian celebrities, one of the prominent people who fell from grace was popular singer and music composer Anu Malik.

After he was accused of sexual misconduct, Malik was forced to step down as a judge in the reality show 'Indian Idol'. However, according to recent reports, the makers of the show have approached him with an offer to be part of the judging panel again.

When asked about it, Malik told IANS, "Right now, I am at a recording. All I can say at this point of time...no comments."

Although, there is no official confirmation on Malik’s return on the show, sources suggest that Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar will be the judges in the upcoming season of the show. The auditions for the season are expected to begin soon.

Last year, singer Shweta Pandit had accused Malik of sexually harassing her, and called him a "pedophile" and a "sexual predator". Singer Sona Mohapatra too accused him of sexual abuse. However, Malik maintained that the allegations by Shweta Pandit were false and his lawyer Zulfiquar Memon defended him saying,"The allegations made against my client are emphatically denied as completely false and baseless. My client respects the #MeToo movement, but to use this movement to start a character assassination mission is obnoxious."
