Elon Musk on Thursday said that he had found a new CEO for Twitter. Though he did not mentioned the name of the person, gave a hint in his recent tweet that it is going to be a woman.

“Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in ~6 weeks!,” tweeted Musk.

While the Wall Street Journal reported that Comcast NBCUniversal executive Linda Yaccarino was in talks with Musk for the job.

Musk also added that his role will be in transition and he is going to be Twitter's executive chairman and chief technology officer.

“My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops,” added Musk in his tweet.

Tesla billionaire took over Twitter in October last year by completing his $44 billion deal and has implemented an array of changes to the platform. In December, Musk has expressed his desire to step down from the post and had said that he did not wish to be the permanent CEO of the company.

The hunt for the new CEO has been going on for around six months since he had taken over the social media platform.

“I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job,” Musk had tweeted in December. In the Twitter polls conducted by Musk, millions of users had asked him to step down.

Reportedly, Yaccarino was interviewed by Musk at conference in Miami last month. She joined NBCU in 2011 after working at Turner Entertainment for 15 years.
