Tharakans Royal Jewellery is a second generation family-owned business operating in the heart of Kunnamkulam town in Thrissur, Kerala, since 1949. Over seven decades, Tharakans has built a wonderful legacy and reputation with its honesty, integrity and value.
It all began with a small jewellery shop started by Mr. Francis at Chavakkad near Guruvayur Temple. It was their first venture, with a capital of only 40gm of gold. In 1986, he handed over the business to his youngest son, Mr. Dix Francis. He transformed the business in Kunnamkulam into a well-known full-fledged jewellery establishment. The showroom sold only 916 gold. It got the first BIS Hallmark in south India in 2003, and the ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The same year, they inaugurated ‘DIX FRANCIS JEWELLERS’at KM TRADING MALL, Abu Shagara, Sharjah, UAE, with a huge, trendy and traditional designer collections.
They also introduced a gold investment scheme, ‘My Advance in Royal’, for easy buying of gold with payment in several installments through its online application. Also, they are differentiating their business strategies by updating seasonal offers and advance schemes to make the variation in gold rate ineffective to customers. Moreover, they launched an online application named ‘Royal Jewellery Kunnamkulam’, which makes online purchase from a wide range ornaments, more easier with a single touch.
