In a shocking incident, a class XI girl was kidnapped by her boyfriend and two others and auctioned for Rs 70,000 in Uttar Pradesh. She was later rescued by the police.
According to media reports, the girl was detained at a house in Badaun district by the accused for four days before being auctioned.
After an alert from local residents, police raided the house of a former village chief and recovered the girl, as per the reports.
However, all the three accused managed to escape. Police have filed an FIR and started investigation.
