The makers have released the much-awaited teaser of Sultan starring Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the title role. The 85-second video clip gives a sneak peek at Sultan's terrifying physical appearance, his popularity with the crowd and his dominance in wrestling sport.
The teaser beings with Sultan training for a wrestling match and revealing his chiseled body. As he walks out into an open arena, fans erupt in joy chanting his name in the backdrop of a commentary introducing Sultan as ‘Haryana ka sher’ (lion of Haryana).
The clip ends with Sultan destroying his opponent using his wrestling skills and formidable strength.
Sultan is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar under the Yash Raj Films banner. The film stars talented Anushka Sharma, who also plays a wrestler. Both Salman and Anushka have trained for over 6 months for their characters in Sultan.
The film is coming to theatres this Eid.
