Actor and politician Khushbu, on Monday, hit out against internet trollers after several users maliciously implied that she was born 'Nakhat Khan', a Muslim name they wanted to highlight.
"Some trollers have made a discovery about me..my name is Nakhat Khan.. Eureka!!! Fools that's my name given to me by my parents.. AND YES I AM A KHAN..NOW WHAT???late bloomers, wake up..u are 47 yrs late..." she wrote on Twitter.

Khushbu is a spokesperson of the Congress party.
This is not the first time that a celebrity's faith is being highlighted on social media. Earlier, at the height of Mersal row, BJP leader H. Raja posted actor Vijay's voter ID on Twitter, in what seems to be an attempt to prove the actor was of a Christian faith.
Raja had called actor Vijay with his full name saying, “Joseph Vijay’s hate campaign against Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.
