Tamil actor Kamal Hassan suffered a fractured leg on Thursday morning after he slipped and fell down in his office in Chennai.
He has been admitted to Apollo Hospital. He has fractured his right leg.
His condition is stable and is set to undergo a minor surgery, said media reports.
Kamal is currently shooting for Sabaash Naidu directed by T.K. Rajeev Pillai. The film is produced by Lyca Productions in association with Raaj Kamal International.
The lead character of Sabash Naidu is a spinoff on popular character Balram Naidu from Kamal's 2008 hit film Dasavatharam.
Sabash Naidu, a trilingual film, also stars Kamal's daughter Shruti Hassan in the lead role.
