Chandigarh, Oct 29 (PTI) The construction of Ambedkar Bhawan in Punjab's Tarn Taran has reached its final stages, with 95 per cent of the work completed, state Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Affairs Minister Dr Baljit Kaur said on Thursday.
Once dedicated to public, the Ambedkar Bhawan, being built at a cost of Rs 5.94 crore, will serve as a key hub for skill development programmes, vocational training, seminars, social awareness campaigns, library and reading facilities, and various community engagement activities, creating new opportunities for learning and social empowerment, she said in an official statement.
