Gorakhpur (UP), Jul 24 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday asserted that no one will be allowed to grab land illegally in the state and instructed officials to free encroached land and take strict action against those involved.
Hearing grievances of the people during a Janata Darshan at the Gorakhnath temple premises here, he also assured the citizens that no injustice will be tolerated under his watch.
"No one will be allowed to grab land illegally," he was quoted as saying in an official statement.
"The government stands firmly with the poor and the victims," he added and instructed officials to swiftly free encroached land and take strict action against those involved.
Addressing complaints of family land disputes, he emphasised the importance of peaceful resolution through dialogue and fair distribution of property.
When a woman complained about land encroachment, Adityanath instructed the officials present to take action and ensure the land is vacated.
In another case, he ordered that a woman be given her due share of property, the statement said.
Many people present there also sought financial support.
The chief minister assured them of full government support and handed over applications to officials with instructions to expedite treatment estimates and ensure timely approval through the administration.
"All complaints whether related to revenue, policing, or medical needs must be addressed with transparency, urgency, and compassion," he added.
