New Delhi, Oct 29 (PTI) Global hospitality group BWH Hotels, which operates the Best Western chain, is bringing its portfolio of over 4,000 hotels across 100 countries under WorldHotels as its global masterbrand, with India accounting for 34 operational properties and another 26 in the development pipeline.

The global brand overhaul brings together 18 brands, loyalty programmes and digital platforms under a unified identity, in a move aimed at improving visibility and simplifying access for travellers.

For India, the consolidation is expected to strengthen the visibility of its properties among international travellers and improve access to the group's global distribution network, while allowing individual hotels to retain their existing names and identities.

"With WorldHotels, we want to give our hotel partners access to a larger international customer base and stronger distribution channels, while also making it easier for Indian travellers to discover and book our properties, both within the country and overseas," said Atul Jain, Chief Operating Officer, WorldHotels India and South Asia.

The transformation marks a broader repositioning of BWH Hotels beyond its traditional Best Western identity.

Larry Cuculic, President and CEO of WorldHotels, said the new structure would help travellers better understand the group's offerings while enabling hotel owners to compete internationally without losing their independence and authenticity.
