Turning back time

Inspired by the art deco style of the mid-1920s, the Longines Evidenza makes an impression, just like its earlier renditions. The collection not only underlines the Swiss brand’s expertise in crafting elegant timepieces, but also recalls Longines’s history of daring to produce its first differently shaped watches back in the 1920s.

When it comes to the Evidenza, the designers at Longines aspired for simple lines that are enhanced by the perfectly taut curve of the case—a unique shape that was first launched in 1911.

With the 2021 edition, Longines takes the collection to new heights by putting an automatic movement inside and designing new dial colours in sea green and silver. One of its most attractive features is the matt “tonneau” shape sitting at the centre of the dial that adds a different dimension to the watch’s overall look. Furthermore, the use of a blue aluminium ring for the crown gives a fresh look.

The Longines Evidenza is available in sea-green and blue leather straps, with the additional option of a supple steel bracelet.
