Even as the man who assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk continues to be on the run, and the law enforcement is offering a $1,00,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, a former FBI profiler claimed that the accused may be a loner who lacks social skills and may have only a loose plan for his next moves.

According to James Clemente, retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent and profiler, the suspect has a very poor self-image and wanted to make a big public statement.

The shooting, carried out in broad daylight as Kirk was speaking about social issues, was captured on camera and spread on social media.

“And they probably, again, don’t have the skills to address these issues in a calm, rational, interpersonal way. And that’s why they lashed out in this very violent and extreme manner,” he told Fox News.

According to the former FBI profiler, it is likely that there was some anger building in the suspect for a long time, mixed with anger and rage.

Clemente noted that it is possible that the suspect dropped hints about what he is planning to do to his friends or family via social media posts. He claimed that it is possibly the first time the suspect has ever acted out this way and is unlikely to repeat the offence.

Clemente believes that this is not a sophisticated killer and was only developing a murderous persona.

“He had no idea what was going to happen afterwards, what was going to happen during, whether he was going to get away with it or not. And, so, therefore, he didn’t plan out his after-game,” he was quoted as saying.
