US President Donald Trump's Thursday dinner with tech leaders like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates has set the rumour mills buzzing as the Republican leader was seen hiding his hands under the table.
Trump, who is usually seen making hand gestures while speaking, seemed out of character as he kept his hands away from the cameras. He was seated between Mark Zuckerberg and Melania Trump at the State Dining Room. Bill Gates sat to the left of Melania while Apple CEO Tim Cook and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman were also present.

On Tuesday, during a photo-op at the Oval Office, Trump's team strategically place a 'Gulf of America' hat to help the president hide his right hand. He also wore makeup on his bruised hand. The incident happened amid confusion about Trump vanishing from public view over the weekend.
Earlier, the White House claimed that the bruises were caused by frequent shaking of hands and side effect of taking aspirin.
Besides his bruised hands, Trump's swollen ankles also led to speculations about his declining health. In July, the White House acknowledged that Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency.
Trump's former ally and far-right political pundit Nick Fuentes said there was something going on with the president, claiming that "this is literally Biden 2".
He was referring to Joe Biden's Stage 5 prostate cancer diagnosis in May 2025. Biden and his team were slammed for covering up the diagnosis as they allegedly waited until the cancer advanced to late phase. Back then, Trump's son Donald Trump Jr slammed Biden for covering up the diagnosis ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
