A selfie video shared by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni with Indian PM Narendra Modi during the G7 summit in Italy's Apulia had gone viral in social media.
“Hello from the Melodi team,” said Meloni in the video, where both the leaders are seen sharing a laugh.
PM Modi had arrived in Italy to participate in the G7 Outreach summit on Meloni’s invitation. Reacting to the video, PM Modi wrote on X, 'Long live India-Italy friendship!". He had commented on the video by re-sharing it.

Modi thanked the Italian PM for the invitation. This was Modi’s first foreign visit after assuming charge as the PM in a historic third term.
During the bilateral talks, both leaders discussed strategic partnerships and agreed on the early implementation of a migration and mobility agreement.
As the G7 summit concluded on Saturday, PM Modi wrote on X, "Had a very good meeting with PM @GiorgiaMeloni."
"We discussed ways to further cement India-Italy relations in areas like commerce, energy, defence, telecom and more. Our nations will work together in futuristic areas like biofuels, food processing and critical minerals," he said after the meeting.
On the sidelines of the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) in Dubai, the two leaders met in December last year and clicked a selfie as well.
Modi also held bilateral talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, the UK's Rishi Sunak and Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the summit.
