Girlfriend of Anthony Quinn Warner, the suspected Nashville bomber told law enforcement agents that he was making explosives in his recreational vehicle. The police said they couldn't investigate the tip-off any further as Warner did not respond to the multiple knocks on his door, when the police visited his house on August 21, 2019. The tip-off was given by Pamela Perry, who said she was  Warner's girlfriend.

Perry's attorney Raymond Throckmorton called the police to Perry's home after she made suicidal threats while holding two pistols, Perry said longed to Warner. Throckmorton also told the police that Warner frequently talked of “military and bombmaking.”

An officer observed Warner's home for several days but found no evidence of bomb-making. Throckmorton had told the policemen that Warner, “knows what he is doing and is capable of making a bomb.”

The motive behind the blast is still being investigated.
