President Donald Trump is having trouble admitting defeat, concede and bow out of the White House. Trying to talk some sense into him are son-in-law Jared Kushner and wife Melania Trump.

After nearly four tortured days of counting yielded a victory for Biden, Trump was still insisting the race was not over. He is promising a flurry of legal actions and tweeted that he'd “WON THIS ELECTION BY A LOT”

While his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump are rage-shaming politicians in the Republican party to support the president and are egging Trump on to pursue the path of legal justice. After CNN reported on Monday that Kushner was urging the President to concede, a White House official later refuted the claim.

Melania Trump, who is allegedly counting the days to Trump's exit from the White House to divorce him, on Twitter seemed in line with her husband's belief. While she is said to privately weighed-in her opinion.

Melania hasn't always been excited about her role as the First Lady. In a tape leaked to CNN, she was heard saying how she despised decorating the White House for Christmas and her true thoughts about immigrants children who were separated from their parents.

"OK, and then I do it and I say that I'm working on Christmas and planning for the Christmas and they said, 'Oh, what about the children that they were separated?' Give me a f****** break. Where they were saying anything when Obama did that? I can not go, I was trying to get the kid reunited with the mom. I didn't have a chance — needs to go through the process and through the law," she was heard saying.

The President's daughter Ivanka Trump on November 6 had tweeted, “Every legally cast vote should be counted. Every illegally cast vote should not. This should not be controversial. This is not a partisan statement — free and fair elections are the foundation of our democracy.” Post this, her tweets have been about updates on Pfizer's success in creating a COVID-19 vaccine.

Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani too, has been egging Trump on to not back down without a legal fight. Analysts are projecting that Trump hopes to start a new channel or a media empire and run for the office 2024, increasing his incentive to prolong the drama.

Senator Ted Cruz, too, it looks like is on team Trump. “At this point, we do not know who has prevailed in the election,” Cruz said, He told Fox News he believes Trump “still has a path to victory.” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is also urging trump to keep fighting.

Some Republican Senators sent tepid nods toward a transition like Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska and Senator Susan Collins. Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer said that the Republicans' refusal to accept the election results was extremely dangerous, extremely poisonous to our democracy and that Joe Biden had won the election fair and square. While Trump isn't expected to concede, he is expected to grudgingly vacate the White House once his term comes to an end.
