Former First Lady Hillary Clinton indicated that the upcoming elections in November could be a close one and that Republicans would try to tamper the results by messing the in-mail ballots. But, Democratic nominee Joe Biden should not concede until all the votes are counted.

“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances because I think this is going to drag out and, eventually, I do believe he will win if we don't give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side,” Clinton said. Clinton won almost three million more votes than Trump overall in 2016, but lost to him in the state-by-state electoral college count.

She said the Republicans are hoping to get the result they want through in-person voting on the day and won’t necessarily wait for any delayed mail-in ballots to be counted.

"We've got to have a massive legal operation," she said. "And I know the Biden campaign is working on that,” Clinton, a former secretary of state under then-President Barack Obama.

Her comments follow warnings from both sides that the result of the election may not be known on the evening of November 3.

Trump has been allegedly trying to sabotage election results by making changes to the postal system—putting a crunch on the budget and changing the postmaster in chief about a couple of months before the polls

Trump has, time and again, said he feels that the in-mail ballot system is rigged and therefore cannot be trusted.

As per opinion polls, Trump is currently behind Biden both in the popular and electoral college contests.
