In difficult times as these, small gestures can make a big difference. Surely, delivery man Tim Joseph felt heart warmed when eight-year-old Tallulah learnt sign language so that she could wish him a good morning.
The little girl from Ashton-Under-Lyne, in Greater Manchester, had been seeing Tim drive around delivering packages a few times a week in the neighbourhood.
To show appreciation for the hard work he was doing as an essential worker, she drew a rainbow with a ‘thank you’ written below it and gave it to Tim, who proudly hung it in his van.
Over the weeks, the duo developed a friendship of sorts. And Tallulah, wanting to wish her friend, who is deaf, a great day, learned sign language.
