India U-17 goalkeeper Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem was spotted in a yellow Kerala Blasters jersey at JLN Stadium in Delhi, the site of the ongoing game between Kerala and Delhi, reports goal.com

He was earlier with the I-League side Indian Arrows, but his contract had recently expired.

Dheeraj had been a standout performer in the India U-17 team which had punched above their weight in their first FIFA tournament. Dheeraj was the heaviest hitter, successfully fending off attacks and punching balls to safety.

Dheeraj’s fledgling career, however, has also had its setbacks. At the Granatkin Cup in 2016, he was substituted for the first time in his career. In a four-nation tour in Mexico this year, he was vulnerable against set pieces. Even in the match against the US, Dheeraj conceded two of three goals to set pieces.
