After winning many medals in National level and International championships, Delhi’s Aradhya Porwal, at just 16, has emerged as one of India’s brightest squash prodigies. Her rise has been remarkable as she has been ranked All-India No. 1 in the Girls Under-17 category since July 2025 by the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI). And now she has embarked on her dream to represent India at the Los Angeles Olympics 2028 in Squash, and win for the country.
Aradhya began playing squash at the age of seven. Since then, the courts have been her second home. Her sharp reflexes and calm temperament under pressure make her a potential winner in the matches to come. Notably, in October 2025, she clinched the Junior National Squash Championship (GU-17) title, solidifying her position as India’s top-ranked junior player.
Her international record is equally impressive. She has represented India at multiple major championships and secured a bronze medal at the 22nd Asian Junior Team Championship in Hong Kong (2025), silver at the Scottish Junior Open (2024), and a plate-event silver at the Asian Junior Individual Championship in China (2023). She also finished among the top 32 players globally at the World Junior Squash Championship in Egypt (July 2025).
