In fact, the RR bandwagon on social media have also constantly tried to portray their social media buzz to be on a higher level regarding this trade announcement.

"We've changed our bio. Not our admin." read the latest post from CSK's official handle on X - a clear dig at the RR social media team whose admin was fired in 2022 after a post on Samson had backfired, forcing the Kerala batter to complain to the higher authorities in the franchise.

"Leo's 📹 gift from Kerala 🔜 🌿" is what CSK's latest bio reads. All this clearly hints at a big surprise from the CSK management for their new superstar. What will it be? Speculations are that it will mostly be a special function or an explosive social media promo while some fans think that captaincy is also an outside possibility. However, CSK had already posted about Ruturaj Gaikwad being their skipper after the retention day.
