What is an India-Australis series without some banter involved? The India-Pakistan rivalry might be the most intense in cricket history but if we give equal weightage to the quality of competition and banter, there isn't one like India-Australia currently.

The latest episode of this blockbuster rivalry kicks-off on Sunday (October 19) with India's white-ball tour of Australia, featuring three ODIs and as many T20Is. In the build up to the series, The Grade Cricketer podcast released a light-hearted video where Australia men's and women's players are talking about their tactics to mentally derail India.

"We all know India are on their way but we have identified one critical weakness," says Sam Perry, one of the hosts of The Grade Cricketer, with a poker face.

"They don't seem to be fans of the traditional greeting (gestures a handshake). So, we can throw them off even before we bowl a ball."

Young opener Jake Fraser-McGurk and veteran Glenn Maxwell then orchestrate a fist pump, making it appear like a handshake gone wrong. They then exchange a laugh over it. The ever smiling Grace Harris is upto some of her prank-filled expressions and shows her ways of making a handshake in the video.

"I've been working on this one," she says before showing off some mischevious gestures with her hands.

For the record, the Aussie women faced their Indian counterparts in the ongoing ODI World Cup last Sunday (October 12) in Vizag. The world champions registered the highest successful ODI run chase of all time to down the tournament hosts in a thrilling affair. Meanwhile, the men's squad is getting ready amidst a host of injuries to welcome an Indian side that is about to witness the start of a new leadership era.

Australia's ODI captain Mitchell Marsh along with Josh Hazlewood and Matthew Short are also seen in the videos amongst others. It is intended as a fun-filled video but clearly, there is also some subtle banter in it, as you'd expect from the Aussies.
