The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has lodged a complaint against Pakistan players Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan for their "provocative" gestures during the Asia Cup match on Sunday.
According to reports, BCCI filed the complaint at the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday. The two players will have to appear before the ICC for a hearing in case they deny the allegations in writing.

Meanwhile, in a retaliatory move, the Pakistan Cricket Board also lodged a complaint against Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav over his remarks after the first match on September 14.
In the post-match press briefing, Yadav had expressed his solidarity with the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and dedicated his team's victory to the Indian Armed Forces involved in Operation Sindoor. PCB alleged that Yadav’s comments were "political".
During Sunday’s Super 4 match, Farhan sparked outrage among Indian fans in the middle of his innings when he mimicked firing an AK-47 rifle with his bat.
His bizarre celebration was in the 10th over of Pakistan’s innings when he hit a spectacular sixer to finish his half-century.
Pakistani players turned a cricket field into a terror stage guns, crashes, mockery. They didn’t shame India, they exposed Pakistan. The world saw it: terror isn’t their shadow, it’s their identity. 🇮🇳#indvspak2025 #AbhishekSharma #HarisRauf #SahibzadaFarhan #AsiaCup2025 pic.twitter.com/9fRISU28aV

Rauf, meanwhile, made gestures to depict the bringing down of a plane to mock India's military action. He also allegedly hurled abuses at Indian openers Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma during his bowling spell, and the two youngsters responded with their bats.
India enters Asia Cup final
On Wednesday, India, riding on Abhishek Sharma's scintillating 75, comfortably hammered Bangladesh by 41 runs to enter the Asia Cup final. Thursday's Super 4s game between Bangladesh and Pakistan will decide India's opponent in the summit clash.
A third mouth-watering India versus Pakistan contest is very much likely if Bangladesh's batting show so far in the tournament is any indicator.
