The name Jasprit Bumrah brings to mind a ridiculously short run-up followed by a high-arm whipping action. A nightmare for most batsmen!
But can you imagine the same Bumrah shaking a leg on a stage? Well yes, he did. The India pacer recently got married to TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan in a private ceremony in Goa. Ever since both shared their wedding picture on social media, netizens have been gushing about the couple.
Now, a video, reportedly from their sangeet ceremony, is going viral. In the short video shared on Instagram, Bumrah and Sanjana are seen dancing to a romantic song on a stage. The 27-year-old is seen in a navy blue sherwani while Sanjana Ganesan is seen in a pink lehenga.
There had been much speculation about their relationship and the wedding. Bumrah had asked to be relieved from the India squad for the fourth Test against England in Ahmedabad. He has also been rested for the white-ball series against England.
Sanjana Ganesan is a sports presenter and TV personality, who has hosted shows with Star Sports during the Indian Premier League (IPL) and also worked as a presenter on the Premier Badminton League as well. She was featured in the 2012 Femina Style Diva show and was also a finalist in the Femina Miss India Pune competition in 2013.
