New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and opted to bat first against India in the second T20 international in Eden Park, Auckland on Sunday.

India are leading the five-match series 1-0 after successfully chasing the target of 204 set by the hosts in the first T20I and won by six wickets. K.L. Rahul and Shreyas Iyer hit half-centuries to guide the visiting side to a comfortable victory over the Black Caps on Friday.

New Zealand were left pondering about a shortage of 10-15 runs to their total as well as missed chances in the field that allowed the visiting batsmen to get away with a high scoring rate. They are expected to field the same team as the first match.

Teams:

India: Virat Kohli (captain), Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul (wk), Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar.
