Australia captain Aaron Finch won the toss and opted to bat first against India in the series deciding third ODI in Bengaluru on Sunday.

After the batting order confusion that led to their defeat in the opener, India got their batting combination right for the second match in Rajkot. India leveled the series against Australia in the second ODI with a 36-run win. Australia had thrashed the hosts in the first ODI in Mumbai by 10 wickets after David Warner and Finch hit centuries to guide the visitors to a comfortable victory.

The hosts are likely to stick to the winning combination, with Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan opening, skipper Virat Kohli back to his usual number three spot while Shreyas Iyer returns to number four position. K.L. Rahul proved his worth by batting at a 150-plus strike rate in the number five position, scoring an 80 in the Rajkot match. He has also taken over wicket-keeping responsilities since Rishabh Pant was ruled out due to a concussion.

No significant change is expected even in the bowling composition with team preferring three pacers and two spinners.

Australia too are unlikely to make wholesale changes in their line-up following the defeat.

Squads:

India: Virat Kohli (captain), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, K L Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Shami.
