West Indies captain Jason Holder has won the toss and elected to field against Sri Lanka in Durham on Monday. The match is a must-win for Sri Lanka to keep its semi-final hopes alive. While West Indies have been ruled out of the semi-finals, Sri Lanka are yet not mathematically out of the World Cup.
West Indies have brought back Shannon Gabriel back into the playing XI, while Lahiru Thirimanne, Jeffrey Vandersay and Kasun Rajitha would feature in the Sri Lankan side for Monday's match.
Interestingly, Sri Lanka have won their last three World Cup fixtures against the West Indies. A victory in Durham against the West Indies, who are also about to head home, could keep 1996 champions Sri Lanka in with a slender chance of making the semi-finals of the 10-team tournament going into their last match against India.

Sri Lanka's World Cup campaign has been undermined by poor batting, with their surprise win over hosts England largely achieved due to fine bowling.
