Bangladesh captain Mushrafe Mortaza won the toss and chose to send West Indies to bat first in their World Cup encounter on Monday in Taunton.

Bangladesh has defeated West Indies as many as three times in the tri-series in Ireland ahead of the World Cup.

Both West Indies and Bangladesh are on three points from four games.

Bangladesh have played well in the tournament so far but is lacking in the bowling department. The only change in the side for Bangladesh in the match against West Indies is the inclusion of Liton Das in place of Mohammad Mithun.

West Indies seems to be in T20 mode while playing the World Cup, and a change in their batting is much needed. Carlos Brathwaite will sit this match out and Darren Bravo will take his place.

Teams:

West Indies: Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Shai Hope, Darren Bravo, Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder (c), Andre Russell, Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas, Shannon Gabriel

Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mehidy Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza (c), Mustafizur Rahman.
