US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said the coming days will be decisive in the ongoing war in Iran. However, he warned that if Tehran fails to reach a deal, the US will continue the war.

"We have more and more options, and they have less ... in only one month we set the terms, the upcoming days will be decisive. Iran knows that, and there's almost nothing they can militarily do about it," Hegseth said.

Hegseth revealed that the United States is well aware of what China and Russia are doing to help Iran. "As far as Russia and China, we know exactly what they're doing, what they are or are not doing. We don't have to air publicly what all of that is, but where necessary, we're addressing it, we're mitigating it or we're confronting it head on," he added.

He also claimed that the airstrikes have resulted in widespread desertions in the Iranian army and frustration among senior leaders, adding that the country's military's morale is damaged. "Past 24 hours saw lowest number of enemy missiles fired by Iran," he claimed.
